BEDGEAR Q3 Philanthropic Impact

Q3 Impact
Throughout July, August, and September, BEDGEAR continued to give back to the communities where we live and work through product donations, employee volunteerism, longstanding community partnerships, and charitable support. From helping children receive complete sleep systems and creating more comfortable spaces for women experiencing homelessness to supporting scholarships and families impacted by cancer, our teams and partners made a meaningful impact throughout Q3.
Dream Big TDG
In July, BEDGEAR supported Dream Big TDG in its efforts to provide children without beds with complete sleep systems. BEDGEAR donated bedding essentials to complement mattresses provided by other participating vendors, helping ensure 100 children had the products needed for a more comfortable night's sleep.
Nick and Tyler also joined the event on July 21, where they had the opportunity to engage directly with the children and see firsthand the impact of BEDGEAR’s contribution.
BEDGEAR’s Donation:
100 pillows
100 mattress protectors
100 sheet sets
Mattress Firm Mini-Safe Sleep Makeover
BEDGEAR continued its partnership with Mattress Firm and the National Women's Shelter Network in July by supporting a mini-Safe Sleep Makeover at Linden's Women's Home in Brooklyn, New York.
Shana joined Mattress Firm on July 14 to help refresh the shelter and create more welcoming spaces for its residents. Volunteers assisted with projects such as preparing rooms, cleaning, painting, hanging curtains, and making beds. BEDGEAR also provided products from our Beauty collection to offer the women an additional moment of comfort and self-care.
BEDGEAR’s Donation:
· 70 sleep masks
· 70 scrunchies
Exclusive Furniture Back-to-School Mattress Donation
In August, BEDGEAR once again joined Exclusive Furniture for its annual Back-to-School Mattress Donation Drive in Houston, continuing a community partnership we have proudly supported over the years.
The August 22 event provided new sleep systems to local children who had previously been sleeping on floors, worn-out mattresses, or without a proper bed. The initiative holds special meaning for Exclusive Furniture owners Sam and Fawad Zavary, who have shared their own childhood experiences of sleeping on the floor when their family could not afford mattresses. Today, they use those experiences to help ensure other children have a comfortable place to sleep as they head back to school.
BEDGEAR helped complete 70 new sleep setups for participating families.
BEDGEAR’s Donation:
70 Full mattresses
70 mattress protectors
70 sheet sets
70 Flow pillows
Children of a BEDGEAR Employee’s Scholarship
In August, the BEDGEAR Foundation continued its commitment to supporting education by awarding the Children of a BEDGEAR Employee’s Scholarship to Brooklin Ferguson, daughter of John Ferguson of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The annual scholarship recognizes the hard work and accomplishments of students within the extended BEDGEAR family and provides financial support as they continue pursuing their education.
Hope to Dream Foundation
BEDGEAR continued supporting Ashley's Hope to Dream program throughout Q3, helping provide essential sleep products to children in need.
In addition to BEDGEAR's ongoing monthly support in July and August, we donated 37 Astro Youth Pillows in September to support the Hope to Dream program in Victoria, Texas. Sponsored by the local Ashley store, the September 26 event provided children in need with complete sleep setups, including mattresses, bed frames, pillows, and bedding.
BEDGEAR’s Q3 Donations:
20 mattress protectors donated in July
40 mattress protectors in August
37 Astro Youth Pillows donated in September
Bouie Foundation Summer Restock
In September, BEDGEAR continued its support of the Bouie Foundation with a significant product restock to help the organization serve kids and families in its community.
The donation included the essential components needed to create 40 complete Twin XL sleep setups, helping provide recipients with not only a mattress, but also the bedding and accessories needed for a comfortable night's sleep.
BEDGEAR’s Donation:
40 Twin XL mattresses
40 mattress protectors
40 sheet sets
40 Astro Youth Pillows
Other Community Support:
BEDGEAR supported the Beljanski Foundation's Sweat Feast silent auction in August with a product donation that included 1 Night Ice Performance® Pillow and 1 cooling throw. The donated products helped support the event's fundraising efforts for cancer research while giving attendees the opportunity to take home some BEDGEAR cooling essentials.
BEDGEAR also continued its annual support of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce's Comedy Night fundraiser in September by donating two travel pillows. Proceeds from the community event help fund scholarships for local high school students, making our contribution another way to support students and families within our local community.
In September, BEDGEAR supported a former employee participating in the New York City Marathon as a charity runner benefiting Imerman Angels. Imerman Angels provides free, personalized support and resources to individuals and families impacted by cancer, connecting those facing cancer with people who have experienced similar journeys. BEDGEAR made a $250 donation supporting her fundraising efforts.
Q3 Sustainability Update: More Than 527,000 Pounds Diverted
It was a busy third quarter across BEDGEAR’s manufacturing and warehouse operations, and that increased activity was reflected in our sustainability efforts. During Q3, our Rock Hill and Salt Lake City facilities recycled and upcycled a combined 527,720 pounds of material—more than 263 tons kept in productive use and diverted from the waste stream.
Overall volume increased by 88,106 pounds, or 20%, compared with the previous period, driven in part by increased production as well as an additional load of cardboard and plastic processed during the quarter.
Of the total material handled during Q3:
103,156 pounds were recycled, including cardboard and paper, plastic film, metal, wood pallets, and foam collected through our Buy Back Foam Program.
424,564 pounds were upcycled, giving plastic, foam, and latex materials another useful life into our manufacturing rather than sending them to waste.
Our commitment to the environment extends beyond our facilities. For every online order placed on BEDGEAR.com, BEDGEAR plants a tree to help support reforestation and reduce carbon emissions. During Q3 alone, customer orders helped BEDGEAR plant 4,979 trees.
From keeping hundreds of thousands of pounds of material in productive use to planting thousands of trees, these efforts demonstrate how sustainability continues to be incorporated throughout our business. As BEDGEAR grows, we remain focused on finding meaningful ways to reduce waste, make better use of materials, and help lessen our environmental impact.

A major highlight was the continued Mattress Firm rollout, with 85 stores completed during Q3. The team also supported multi-store installations for several valued retail partners, including:

The Wait Is Over: Marketing Has Moved to ClickUp!
This quarter marked a major milestone for the Marketing Operations team with the long-awaited transition from Jira to ClickUp as our new project management platform.
While changing systems is never a small undertaking, this move represents much more than a new tool. It's an important step toward creating a more centralized, streamlined, and collaborative way of managing projects, requests, and priorities across the organization. ClickUp provides greater visibility into our work, helps teams stay aligned, and lays the foundation for more efficient project execution moving forward.
As with any major transition, there will continue to be opportunities to refine processes, optimize workflows, and enhance the platform to best support the way our teams work. The launch is just the beginning, and we're excited to continue building on this foundation together.
A special thank you to everyone who contributed to making this transition a success. From planning and testing to training and adoption, your flexibility, patience, and willingness to embrace new ways of working have been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.
Two Hours. One Athlete. One Connected Campaign.

When you only have two hours with A.J. Brown, every minute — and every shot — has to count.
The Creative team started with one goal: build a campaign that connected A.J.’s drive on the field with the role sleep plays in helping him Wake Ready® for whatever comes next.
Before A.J. ever stepped in front of the camera, we mapped out the campaign from concept to execution. The idea, scripts, visual direction, shot list and channel needs were developed together, so we weren’t simply planning a commercial shoot. We were planning an entire campaign.
Then we had two hours to capture it.
With a focused production plan, the team captured a wide range of training, lifestyle, product and storytelling moments designed to give us flexibility well beyond the hero films.
That footage became two CTV commercials and a complete campaign system spanning paid media, social, email and landing page creative. Each execution was built from the same central idea and visual language, giving the campaign a consistent BEDGEAR presence everywhere it showed up.
It’s a great example of how Creative works at its best: starting with one strong idea, thinking across every consumer touchpoint from the beginning, and making every piece of content work harder.
That’s what happens when concept, planning and execution work as one.

Title: Strategic Partnership Manager
Building Awareness Through Strategic Partnerships
It’s been an exciting quarter for BEDGEAR as we continue to find new ways to bring the importance of sleep, recovery, and performance to new audiences through partnerships. One partnership that has continued to drive both brand awareness and sales is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Pump Club. Through dedicated newsletter features, we’ve been able to introduce BEDGEAR to Arnold’s highly engaged health and wellness community while educating readers on why better sleep is such an important part of overall performance and longevity. If you want to sign up for those newsletters, they are great reads!
We’re also expanding our presence in the podcast space. We were recently featured on The Ready State Podcast with Dr. Kelly and Juliet Starrett, where we’re running ad reads to reach their performance, mobility, and wellness-focused audience. If you’re looking for a new podcast to add to your rotation, you can listen here.
We’ve also partnered with Momentous, bringing together two brands focused on helping people perform and recover at their best. You can learn more about the partnership here and as a BEDGEAR employee, you can use code BEDGEAR30 for 30% off!
On the athlete side, there’s a lot more to come. We’ll soon begin rolling out our partnership with New England Patriots Wide Receiver A.J. Brown, and we’re excited to share more of the story behind how sleep and recovery fit into his performance routine. We have recently gifted a few big time NBA players as well, so you should see that on our Instagram soon!
We also recently visited Virginia Military Institute, where we fit student-athlete cadets with our pillows. The experience gave us an incredible look into the demanding lives of VMI cadets, and we captured some great stories and content that we can’t wait to share with the team.
Tennis has also opened up some exciting new opportunities for BEDGEAR. During the US Open, we had a presence at The Benjamin Hotel, where Taylor helped fit athletes with BEDGEAR pillows — including 2026 US Open Women’s Singles Champion Elena Rybakina. Moments like this allow us to introduce BEDGEAR directly to elite athletes and build authentic relationships within sports where sleep, travel, and recovery can have a major impact on performance.
And we’re not slowing down. This November, BEDGEAR will be at the Eudemonia Summit in West Palm Beach, bringing our personalized sleep experience into one of the leading gatherings focused on health, wellness, and longevity.
Between new athletes, events, podcasts, wellness partners, and other opportunities already in the works, there’s a lot to be excited about as we head into Q4 and 2027. We can’t wait to share what’s next!

Women’s Wellness Day at NFM
This August, BEDGEAR partnered with Nebraska Furniture Mart – The Colony for Women’s Wellness Day, a day focused on women’s health and the connection between sleep, nutrition, movement, and recovery.
The event featured Dr. Helen Messier, a physician-scientist specializing in precision and longevity medicine, and Khalia Collier, VP & Chief of Staff of Basketball Operations for the Dallas Mavericks. They shared their perspectives on women’s health, healthy aging, performance, and the everyday choices that can make a difference over time.
Guests spent the day visiting different wellness stations and learning more about ways to support their overall health. At the BEDGEAR station, attendees received personalized Performance® Pillow fittings and learned how their sleep position, body type, and temperature preferences can help determine the right pillow for them.
It was a great day with NFM, our wellness partners, and the local community, and a chance for BEDGEAR to be part of a bigger conversation around women’s wellness. Most importantly, we were able to show how personalized sleep can play a role in helping people feel better, recover better, and perform better.

Building the Future: Innovation and Development Take Shape for 2027
Merchandising & Product Development:
The Merchandising and Development team is continuing to build momentum toward 2027, beginning with the addition of Noelle Smith as our new Product Innovation Manager. In this role, Noelle will focus on identifying new technologies, materials, and innovation opportunities that can help shape the future of our product assortment. Kirstin and Noelle recently traveled to China alongside Eugene and Lexi, working directly with our factory partners to explore new capabilities, evaluate opportunities, and accelerate key concepts further into development. Being on the ground with our partners allowed the team to make real-time decisions, refine product direction, and better connect innovation and development with our broader merchandising strategy. The trip marked an important step in building a stronger, more intentional product pipeline, bringing together innovation, product development, and a clear go-to-market strategy as we look ahead to an exciting 2027.
Building Momentum Through Better Experiences

Department: Sales Education
Title: VP - Player Development
Sales Education:
Retail teams hear a lot of noise about traffic, the economy and the state of our industry. Our focus is simpler: Control what we can control and make every guest opportunity count.
Holiday trends gave us positive momentum, and as we move into Q4 and beyond, the BEDGEAR Sleep Coach L&D Team is focused on helping our retail partners turn that momentum into stronger personal performance. Associates may not control how many guests walk through the door, but they absolutely control the questions they ask, the experience they create and the solutions they confidently recommend.
Mattress shopping is still largely a “have to” purchase. Guests often walk in seeing white rectangles and price tags—not something they are excited to buy. That creates an opportunity for great sales professionals to slow down, stay curious, and turn a transaction into a truly personalized sleep experience.
Our message is simple: Don’t rush the opportunity. Keep an open mind. Show the guest what’s possible. Pillows, protectors, sheets and other performance sleep solutions are part of how people actually sleep—not just add-ons. When we take the time to present a complete solution and let the guest decide what is right for them, we elevate the experience while creating opportunities to increase tickets and average order value.
Our Sleep Coaches will continue bringing high energy, high-touch coaching and new tactical sales initiatives to retail teams around the world. We will help associates tune out the noise, focus on the guest in front of them, and make the most of every opportunity.
Win the hearts and minds. Elevate the experience. Make every guest count.

Northern California Expansion Fuels Labor Day Success
Bedgear continues to expand its door growth with Mancini's Sleepworld in Northern California. We finished 5 store buildouts right before the Labor Day holiday event. Our local Sleep Coach, Tashmal Martin, quickly jumped in and trained everyone, giving us a strong Labor Day sales event at this key retailer.

Siddartha Reddy Kattekommula
Department: Supply Chain
Title: Performance Improvement Engineer
The Continuous Improvement department is pleased to welcome Siddartha Reddy Kattekommula to the Bedgear team. Siddartha joined us in late July as our first Performance Improvement Engineer, a key role that reflects the company's growing commitment to operational excellence across our Rock Hill and Salt Lake City facilities.
Siddartha brings a strong academic and professional foundation to the role, holding a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Clemson University and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. He is already making an impact, spending his first month immersed in every department of our Rock Hill operation, from Quality and Production to Warehousing, Business Systems, Customer Service and Planning, building the operational knowledge base that will drive his project work.
His initial projects focus on Mattress BOM Accuracy and Supply Item Capture, and the development of Sustainability SOPs for both Rock Hill and Salt Lake City, two initiatives that directly support our cost reduction and circularity goals.
Looking ahead, Siddartha's role will expand significantly as Bedgear pursues its Lean Manufacturing Initiative, a company-wide directive to operate on Lean principles across Rock Hill, Salt Lake City, and our New York office. Siddartha will be at the center of that effort, leading 5S implementation, Kaizen improvement events, and a full Value Stream Mapping study of our mattress production operations. His Phase 2 work will include a comprehensive labor routing study across all mattress production equipment, foundational data that will shape how we design and operate our manufacturing floor for years to come.
The Performance Improvement Engineer role is about more than individual projects. It is about building a continuous improvement culture at Bedgear, one where every department, every process, and every employee is part of an ongoing pursuit of better. Siddartha is the right person to help lead that journey.
Siddartha is a local, from Chester, SC, and we are excited to have him as part of the Bedgear family. Siddartha's addition to the team is an important step in building a formal continuous improvement culture at Bedgear. We're excited about what he'll bring to the organization

Building the “Super-Human” Employee in the Age of AI
As AI continues to evolve, it’s easy to assume that the employees who will be most successful are the ones who master the most tools, learn the best prompts, or develop the deepest technical skills. But I recently heard Elizabeth Norberg, Chief People & Culture Officer at SharkNinja, offer a different perspective that stuck with me. She compared the skills we need for the future to a tree. The AI applications, platforms and technical skills we learn are the leaves. They are important—but leaves change with the seasons. And in the world of AI, those seasons are changing faster than ever. The tool we are learning today may look completely different six months from now.
What makes the tree strong isn't its leaves – it's the roots and the trunk. Norberg identified five capabilities that will increasingly distinguish what we might call the “super-human” employee: AI literacy, adaptability, systems thinking, collaboration and information sharing. AI literacy means understanding what AI can and cannot do—and knowing enough to use it thoughtfully. Adaptability is our willingness to learn, unlearn and change how we work. Systems thinking means looking beyond our individual task or department to understand how our work connects to the larger business. Collaboration becomes even more important as AI allows us to solve increasingly complex problems across traditional boundaries. And information sharing ensures that what one person learns can quickly become knowledge that benefits the entire organization.
This is an important distinction as we think about our own AI journey. Our goal shouldn't be to turn everyone into an AI expert or chase every new application that enters the market. We need to build an organization that is exceptionally good at learning and adapting. Imagine one employee discovers a way to reduce a three-hour process to 30 minutes using AI. The technology creates value for that individual. But if that employee shares what they learned, another team improves it, and we rethink the workflow around it, that knowledge begins creating value for the organization. That is where AI literacy combines with collaboration, systems thinking and information sharing to become something much more powerful than simply knowing how to use a tool.
The opportunity ahead of us isn't about becoming less human as technology becomes more capable. In many ways, it's the opposite. The organizations that thrive will be those that combine the speed and capabilities of AI with the things great people and great teams already do best: stay curious, adapt quickly, connect ideas, solve problems together and share what they learn. Tools will change. Today's AI platforms will evolve, and entirely new ones will emerge. Rather than trying to predict every leaf that will grow next, our job is to keep strengthening the tree. Strong roots make us ready for whatever season comes next.
