Retail Experience & Trade Marketing:

The second quarter was filled with momentum across retail, events, and new product initiatives as the Brand Experience team continued to support key projects that strengthen BEDGEAR's presence in the marketplace.

One of the quarter's major accomplishments was the continued progress of the Mattress Firm rollout, which will ultimately support 80 store locations. With fixture designs finalized and structure assembly preparations now underway, the team is moving closer to bringing an enhanced BEDGEAR retail experience to consumers across the country.

The team also celebrated an exciting milestone for the upcoming BEDGEAR Beauty collection. Following a successful leadership review, the newly developed BEDGEAR Beauty display was selected to be showcased at Las Vegas Market (LVM). The display highlights the collection through a premium, engaging presentation designed to help tell the BEDGEAR Beauty story and introduce consumers to the innovation behind the products.

in addition to these retail initiatives, the team maintained a strong presence at industry events throughout the quarter, supporting brand awareness, retailer engagement, and continued business growth. Event support included:

  • High Point Market

  • Global Line Alliance (GLA) Charity Golf Tournament

  • DSRG

  • Furniture First

  • NYO Ribbon Cutting

  • Nebraska Furniture Mart Berkshire Days

  • Mega Convention

  • AMI Furniture Show

These events provided valuable opportunities to connect with retail partners, showcase BEDGEAR innovations, and strengthen relationships across the industry.

As we look ahead, the Retail Experience & Trade Marketing team remains focused on supporting strategic product launches, expanding our retail footprint, and creating engaging brand experiences that help drive growth, strengthen partnerships, and elevate the customer experience at every touchpoint.

Creative:

For Q2, the Creative Department supported the launch of the all-new H Hybrid Performance® Mattress Collection with a full creative system spanning photography, videography, social content, paid media, web, retail, and campaign messaging. From concept development through final execution, the team built a cohesive launch package designed to show up clearly and consistently across every consumer touchpoint.

This work reflects the strength of our creative team across disciplines: sharp strategy, elevated visuals, scroll-stopping social, performance-driven paid assets, and storytelling that feels distinctly BEDGEAR®. The H Collection launch gave us an opportunity to push the brand forward while delivering creative that was built to support the business, energize the consumer, and bring the campaign to market with focus and momentum.

MAKING AN IMPACT AT DRSG IN TORONTO

Marketing & Sales: International

My Q2 highlight was participating in the DRSG buying group show in Toronto. This year’s event was especially meaningful thanks to our new product introductions and enhanced tradeshow experience, both of which made a strong impression on our Canadian retail partners.

We had the opportunity to showcase our new tradeshow POP display (pictured), creating a space that stood out from other suppliers on the show floor. The enthusiasm and positive reactions from retailers were evident throughout the event, reinforcing the impact that our strong brand presentation has on our retail partners.

Our newest product launches were exceptionally well received. Dark Night, the React Pro Performance Topper, Beauty, and especially the new Hybrid series sparked excitement, with customers beginning to place preorders for upcoming launches. Just as the tradeshow experience elevated our product presentation, these new innovations also strengthened broader Love360 conversations with our retail partners.

As we wrapped up the show, every customer conversation centered on the same goal of identifying new opportunities to drive business together through Love360.

MERCHANDISING & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: NEW AND UPCOMING LAUNCHES

Department: Merchandising & Product Development

Title: Director - Design, Development, & Merchandising

Merchandising & Product Development:

The Merchandising and Product Innovation team had a busy 2nd quarter preparing some exciting new product launches for this summer & fall.

This July we launched the BEDGEAR Hybrid Pillowtop Mattresses—our latest innovation designed to deliver premium comfort without sacrificing performance. By combining a luxurious pillowtop feel with our signature cooling technologies and responsive hybrid construction, we've created a mattress that helps sleepers recover, recharge, and perform at their best. This launch is another exciting milestone for mattress category and a testament to the passion and innovation that continues to drive BEDGEAR forward.

This September we’ll be launching our new Sheets Collection, built around two distinct collections: Naked and Athleisure. The Naked Collection brings our performance attributes to premium natural materials - including cotton, linen, and bamboo, delivering the cooling, moisture-wicking, and airflow benefits BEDGEAR is known for. The Athleisure Collection stays true to our performance roots with activewear-inspired fabrics designed to stretch, move, and keep sleepers cool and comfortable. Together, these collections create a stronger, more focused assortment while reinforcing the two key directions of our sheets business.

In addition to the key launches outlined above, we have been accelerating our 2027 product development timeline to ensure as many of our new products are in stock and ready to ship for the Las Vegas January market. This timing aligns with one of the industry's most important buying periods, when many of our customers are planning their purchases for the year, and having inventory available at launch allows them to buy with confidence and take immediate delivery. We believe this initiative will create greater excitement around our new product introductions, strengthen customer commitment, and drive stronger early-season sales.

NEW BEGINNINGS WITH BEDGEAR

Mackenzie Tersigni

Department: Sales Operations

Title: Sales Operations Assistant

Sales Operations:

I can't believe I'm already approaching my first 45 days at BEDGEAR! Transitioning from college into my first full-time role has been an exciting and rewarding experience. Every day has brought new opportunities to learn, collaborate with different teams, and see firsthand how everyone's work contributes to the company's success. Looking back, my time at St. John's University gave me a strong foundation for this role. The coursework and team projects helped me develop skills in communication, problem solving, business analytics, and collaboration, all of which I've been able to apply in Sales Operations. More importantly, it taught me how to think critically and adapt when faced with new challenges.

One of the biggest things I've learned so far is that learning doesn't stop after graduation. Every day presents a new challenge, whether it's understanding a new process, working with different teams, or finding better ways to support our customers and partners. One of the biggest surprises has been how much my perspective has changed. Before working at BEDGEAR, I rarely walked into mattress or furniture stores and didn't really think twice about retail displays. Now, I find myself noticing the merchandising, displays, signage, and overall customer experience everywhere, even in stores outside of the furniture industry. It's given me a new appreciation for the amount of planning, coordination, and teamwork that goes into creating those experiences. That constant learning has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. If I could go back and give my college self one piece of advice, it would be to embrace every opportunity to learn and never be afraid to step outside of my comfort zone.

I'm incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I've received at BEDGEAR and for the opportunity to be part of such a supportive team. Everyone has been willing to answer questions, share their knowledge, and encourage my growth, which has made the transition into my career even more rewarding. I'm excited to continue learning, taking on new challenges, and contributing to the team's success. I look forward to everything that's ahead!

FORECASTING & PLANNING TEAM UPDATE

Department: Forecasting & Planning

Title: Director - Forecasting & Planning

Forecasting & Planning:

In Q2, the reporting structure for F&P shifted, we now report to Evan York. Than Tienauchariya has shifted his priority focus to NSPB, our forecasting and budgeting tool. This is where we forecast down to the item level for each customer. This will enable us to be accurate and make better business decisions. Yvonne Lindahl is managing our POP needs for large scale customer rollouts and new product introductions in the US and Canada. Claudia Colon has taken a bigger role in our international dropship business. Steven Prestia has added the responsibility of purchasing and managing the inventory for our pillow retail boxes. Rebecca Verville has begun to broadcast a full 4-week production schedule. We feel we have built on a solid foundation in Q1 and have seen even more success in Q2.

SUSTAINABILITY & RECYCLING UPDATE — Q2 2026

BEDGEAR continued to build on its commitment to responsible manufacturing through the first half of 2026, recycling and upcycling a combined 912,553 pounds of material across our Rock Hill, SC and Salt Lake City, UT facilities, a 20.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Quarter by quarter, Q1 2026 delivered 472,939 pounds, a 27.7% improvement over Q1 2025, followed by 439,614 pounds in Q2, a 13.5% improvement over Q2 2025. These results reflect the collective efforts of our Environmental Committee and the growing culture of sustainability awareness across both teams.

Sustainability at BEDGEAR extends well beyond the production floor. Our Merchandising and Design teams have developed products built around an upcycling theme that has been enthusiastically received by our customers , demonstrating that responsible manufacturing and great product design go hand in hand. Meanwhile, our Production and Warehousing teams continue to identify new circularity opportunities within our manufacturing processes, finding creative pathways to keep materials in use longer and reduce what goes to landfill. In May 2026, a representative from Republic Services conducted a full waste stream tour of our Rock Hill facility and noted that our waste handling program is among the best he has seen in comparable manufacturing environments, a meaningful third-party endorsement of the work happening every day across our teams.

Looking ahead, the Environmental Committee is actively developing Sustainability Standard Operating Procedures across both our Rock Hill and Salt Lake City facilities to strengthen reporting accuracy, standardize our recycling and upcycling processes, and support our growing ESG (Environmental/Social/Governance) reporting requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint at every stage, from the materials we source to the waste we recover, and we look forward to sharing continued progress in the quarters ahead.

Below is a photo from our Earth Day 2026 tree planting event at our Rock Hill facility. The Environmental Teams and Volunteers in New York and Salt Lake City had similar Earth Day activities; Everyone's efforts were greatly appreciated.

Benefits Update: A New Chapter with Cigna

This past April, we successfully transitioned our medical coverage from BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina to Cigna as part of our annual Open Enrollment. This change was made with our teammates in mind, providing access to a broad national network, convenient digital tools, virtual care options, and wellness resources designed to support your overall health and well-being.

At the same time, we introduced our new tier-based benefits contribution structure. This approach was designed to help ensure our benefits remain competitive, accessible, and sustainable for all teammates.

As a reminder, Cigna members have access to helpful resources including 24/7 virtual care, wellness programs, cost comparison tools, and an easy-to-use mobile app to help manage benefits wherever you are. We encourage everyone to take advantage of these resources and make the most of your benefits throughout the year.

Benefits Made Simple: Where to Go For Care

Understanding your medical benefits doesn't have to be complicated. That's why we're excited to launch Benefits Made Simple—a new employee education series designed to help you better understand your BEDGEAR medical benefits and make informed healthcare decisions for yourself and your family.   Throughout this series, we'll answer common questions, explain insurance terms in plain language, share money-saving tips, and help you get the most value from your benefits. Most emails will take less than two minutes to read, but the information could save you time, money, and unnecessary stress when you need care.   We're kicking things off with one of the most important decisions you can make... Know Where to Go for Care When you or a family member gets sick or injured, it's easy to wonder: Should I call my doctor? Should I use Telemedicine? Do I need Urgent Care? Or should I go to the Emergency Room? Knowing where to go before you need care can help you get treatment more quickly—and in many cases, help reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

📍 Choosing the Right Place for Care

While your specific out-of-pocket costs depend on your medical plan, choosing the right level of care can make a significant difference in both cost and wait time.

🩺 Primary Care Provider (PCP)

Your first stop for routine healthcare.

Your Primary Care Provider knows your health history and is your best resource for:

  • Annual physicals and preventive care

  • Routine illnesses

  • Chronic condition management

  • Follow-up appointments

  • Referrals to specialists when needed

Whenever possible, start with your PCP.

💻 Telemedicine

Need care but don't want to leave home?

Telemedicine connects you with a board-certified healthcare provider by phone or video, making it a convenient option for many common illnesses. Cigna's telemedicine services can help with conditions like colds, flu, sore throat, allergies, ear or eye infections, skin rashes, and insect bites. You can get started by creating an MDLIVE for Cigna account or downloading the app.

Great for:

  • Cold & flu symptoms

  • Sore throat

  • Sinus infections

  • Allergies

  • Pink eye

  • Minor rashes

  • Headaches

  • Earaches

BEDGEAR Tip: If you're enrolled in one of our PPO medical plans, telemedicine visits have a $0 copay. If you're enrolled in the HDHP with HSA, eligible telemedicine services are covered after you've met your deductible.

🏥 Urgent Care

Urgent Care is a great option when you need same-day treatment for a non-life-threatening illness or injury, especially when your doctor's office is closed.

Good for:

  • Sprains and strains

  • Minor cuts

  • Fever

  • Vomiting

  • Sports injuries

  • Minor infections

  • Mild asthma flare-ups

🚑 Emergency Room

Emergency Rooms are designed for serious or life-threatening emergencies.

Go to the ER for situations like:

  • Chest pain

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Severe bleeding

  • Major burns

  • Serious head injuries

  • Stroke symptoms

  • Seizures

  • Loss of consciousness

If you believe someone is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room immediately.

💰 Real-Life Example

It's Saturday morning.

Your child wakes up with a sore throat and a fever. Instead of automatically heading to the Emergency Room, consider whether a Telemedicine visit or Urgent Care is appropriate. You may be able to get the care you need more quickly—and if you're enrolled in one of BEDGEAR's PPO plans, a Telemedicine visit is available with a $0 copay.

💡 Did You Know?

Your myCigna account can help you:

✔ Find in-network providers

✔ View your digital ID card

✔ Estimate the cost of care before scheduling services

✔ Track your deductible

✔ View claims

If you haven't registered yet, it's a great tool to have ready before you need care.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Share This with Your Family

If your spouse or dependents are covered under your BEDGEAR medical plan, please take a moment to share this information with them. Because we don't communicate directly with your covered family members, you play an important role in helping them understand how to use their benefits wisely. Knowing where to go for care before someone gets sick can help your family receive the right care at the right time while avoiding unnecessary medical expenses.

✅ Quick Tip

Take five minutes today to save these resources in your phone:

  • Your Primary Care Provider's phone number

  • myCigna‍ ‍

  • MDLIVE for Cigna‍ ‍

Having them readily available can make healthcare decisions much easier when you need care.
