BEDGEAR Gives Back: A Purpose-Driven Start to 2026

BEDGEAR kicked off 2026 with a strong commitment to giving back. Throughout the first quarter, our team continued to support impactful organizations and communities in need, reinforcing our mission to inspire and support people to be their best through meaningful action.

Ongoing Partnership: Hope to Dream

BEDGEAR continued its support of Ashley Furniture’s Hope to Dream Foundation throughout Q1, donating a total of 110 mattress protectors to help children receive a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

  • January: 40 protectors

  • February: 40 protectors

  • March: 30 protectors

Hope to Dream works to ensure that every child has a bed of their own by providing complete sleep systems to children in need. Our continued partnership helps extend the life of these donations and ensures lasting comfort for each recipient.

Delivering Hope Initiative

Through our Delivering Hope efforts, BEDGEAR donated 100 pillows to support the organization’s mission of providing beds to children in need so they can get the sleep they deserve. By contributing essential sleep products, we’re helping create comfortable, restorative environments that allow kids to rest, recharge, and thrive.

Bouie Foundation: New Year Restock

To start the year, BEDGEAR supported the Bouie Foundation with a donation to help restock their resources. This included:

  • 20 Twin XL mattresses

  • 20 Astro Youth pillows

  • 20 Hyper-Cotton sheet sets

  • 20 Ver-Tex protectors

This donation ensures that underserved kids in Central New York who are supported by the Bouie Foundation have access to high-quality sleep essentials.

Supporting a Local Family in Need

In March, BEDGEAR provided critical support to a local family who lost everything in a house fire. In partnership with Trinity Baptist Church of Indian Land in South Carolina, we donated:

  • 3 beds (1 King, 2 Full)

  • 6 pillows

  • Sheet sets

This contribution helped the family begin to rebuild their home and restore a sense of normalcy during a difficult time.

Mattress Firm Safe Sleep Makeover Events

In April, BEDGEAR partnered with Mattress Firm’s Safe Sleep Makeover program to support families in need at two community events in Tucson (April 15) and Houston (April 21). We’ll be supporting Mattress Firm’s makeover events throughout the year, helping extend this impact to even more communities.

For each event, BEDGEAR donated:

  • 60 Hyper-Silk Eye Masks

  • 60 Hyper-Silk Scrunchie Sets

Total donated across both events:

  • 120 Hyper-Silk Eye Masks

  • 120 Hyper-Silk Scrunchie Sets

These events are part of Mattress Firm’s broader partnership with the National Women’s Shelter Network (NWSN), which works to support women, children, and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Safe Sleep Makeover program brings this mission to life through hands-on community activations, where spaces are refreshed and equipped with essential sleep products to create welcoming, comfortable environments for those transitioning out of difficult circumstances.

Looking Ahead

From ongoing partnerships to immediate relief efforts, BEDGEAR’s Q1 initiatives reflect our continued dedication to making a meaningful impact. Whether supporting children, families, or communities in transition, each contribution plays a role in helping others rest, recover, and move forward.

Thank you to everyone who made these efforts possible. Your support brings our mission to life every day.

Retail Experience & Trade Marketing:

The Brand Experience team kicked off the year with a strong presence at January Las Vegas Market, reinforcing BEDGEAR’s commitment to experiential storytelling and brand consistency. A standout moment in the showroom was the Sleep Fuels fridge concept, designed to showcase the Night Ice pillow by contrasting natural, restorative sleep with artificial energy substitutes. The activation delivered a clear, compelling message, positioning sleep as the most effective and sustainable source of real energy while creating a highly engaging touchpoint for retail partners and market attendees.

In addition to the Sleep Fuels activation, the Las Vegas showroom featured a refreshed Fit.Lab environment with a sleeker, more elevated aesthetic that aligns closely with BEDGEAR’s current brand direction. The space emphasized personalization, clarity, and premium presentation, reinforcing the “Sleep is Personal®” message and elevating the overall showroom experience. Together, these elements helped modernize the space while strengthening how BEDGEAR’s innovation and personalization story is communicated at market.

Building on this momentum, the BX team completed a 30‑store rollout for 1915 South in March, executing both Standard and Extended builds across locations. While the fixtures themselves remained consistent, the rollout marked another successful large-scale execution, bringing renewed energy, alignment, and brand presence to the retail floor. With this milestone complete, the team is already preparing for the next wave of larger-scale rollouts, continuing to focus on seamless execution and impactful brand moments at retail.

Creative:

Q1 had our Creative team deep in content mode, building the stories and assets behind the exciting new products we introduced in our standout showroom at Las Vegas Market. From photography to packaging design to narrative building, the team has been focused on executing the BEDGEAR vision across every upcoming 2026 launch.

Beyond preparing for new product launches, a big highlight this quarter was bringing the “You Can’t Wash Your Mattress” campaign to life for our mattress protectors. The idea was simple. Prove nothing gets past BEDGEAR protection by making the biggest mess possible.

So we did. Kids, dogs, spills, complete chaos on camera. By the end of the shoot, the studio looked like a disaster zone, but the mattresses remained spotless. Success!

Q1 laid the groundwork for what’s shaping up to be a big year for BEDGEAR, and we’re excited to see everything we’ve been building start to roll out in the months ahead.

EXPANDING GLOBALLY: TEAM & MARKET MOMENTUM

Marketing & Sales: International

The first quarter reflected important milestones for our international business as we continued to strengthen the team and bring greater alignment to our global structure. We were proud to welcome Aimee Griffith (VP Sales - APAC) and Brenda Martinez (Territory Manger- LATAM), while also bringing the work of Ken Dennis (Japan) and Montasser Nafea (MENA) and our Canadian teams fully under one international organization. This creates a more connected team with shared priorities, stronger collaboration, and clearer regional focus across our expanding foot print.

The effects are already being felt-- closer customer relationships, better support in market, and more consistent execution across LOVE360.  From my perspective, this is an important step in building a truly global business with the right people and focus to support continued growth throughout 2026 and well into the future.

Marketing & Sales: International

BEDGEAR recently marked an important milestone in our global expansion by participating in the Istanbul Furniture Fair as part of our official entry into the Turkish market.

Representing BEDGEAR on-site, I attended the show with our Sales Representative for the Middle East and North Africa, Montasser. We were featured alongside our in-country partner Isbir, where we collaboratively presented BEDGEAR to attendees.

A strong sign of success from the event was the direct feedback from consumers. Unlike many industry trade shows, the Istanbul Furniture Fair welcomed the public, giving us a valuable opportunity to observe engagement in real time. Consumers were both curious and excited with how we showed up, leading to many looking to transact with our products.

The show also drew a broad international audience. Groups from Egypt, Iraq, France, Austria, Romania, Croatia, and other markets spent considerable time in the space, opening the door for sales conversations and opportunities.

Locally, Turkish retailers showed strong enthusiasm towards our brand. Many of which are now working with our Turkish partner to bring a BEDGEAR program to their floors. Equally as important, we established meaningful connections across all levels of our partners organization- from day-to-day contacts to senior leadership, allowing us to reinforce alignment and trust.

By the end of the event, we had built momentum with Isbir on the path ahead. Together, we are focused on executing a successful market launch while laying the groundwork for long-term growth in the region.

ONBOARDING THAT DRIVES SCALABLE EXECUTION

Sales Education:

As BEDGEAR continues to grow, consistency becomes non-negotiable. Our approach is evolving to drive alignment across teams, markets, and international partners. We are sharpening our onboarding process to develop stronger, faster, more consistent performers across the organization. The goal is clear. Every new team member enters stronger, ramps faster, and executes at a higher level.

To support this, we launched a digitized Learning Path for Sales and Player Development. This structured journey moves new hires from onboarding to certification through a centralized, scalable experience accessible across devices and regions. The model is built on ownership. Managers drive one-on-one development and in-field coaching. Player Development reinforces sales strategy, LOVE 360, training, and brand presence through structured touchpoints with every new team member. Defined milestones drive clear visibility, accountability, and momentum throughout the learning journey.

The Learning Path is anchored in a four-phase onboarding structure. Orientation in New York establishes the company culture and foundation. At-home learning builds core knowledge, sales strategy and fitting process. Field immersion with Managers and Sleep Coaches brings those skills into real world execution. The program culminates in a LOVE 360 review or where team members demonstrate their ability to analyze the business and execute with intention.

This approach focuses on what drives performance. Cross-functional alignment. Consistent sales strategy. Deep application of the LOVE 360 approach. Structured training delivered through training modules and in-field coaching. The result is stronger execution where it matters most, in-store, through the teams we support.

In 2026, the priority is full certification across Sales and Sleep Coach teams on the behaviors that drive our core business. Pillow fitting and alignment. Top-down selling. “You Can’t Wash Your Mattress.” Zero Gravity, Zero Hassle sheets. This is how we scale performance, strengthen consistency, and support continued growth across BEDGEAR.

ASHLEY x BEDGEAR: REDIFINING EVERYDAY COMFORT

Strategy:

Coming out of Las Vegas Market in January, the Bedgear joined forces with Ashley Furniture to elevate the comfort of everyday living spaces, bringing our proprietary fabric technology and fit expertise to complement their multifunctional furniture. This new ASHLEY x BEDGEAR partnership introduces a specialized line of Dri-Tec® mattress protector, Dri-Tec® sheet set, and the React™ Topper—each engineered specifically for Ashley’s sofa beds and integrated mattress. Designed to address the unique challenges of sofa sleepers, these products combine moisture-wicking fabric, breathability, and responsive support to ensure that guests experience the same level of comfort as a primary bed. The React topper adds a layer of cooling & conforming cushioning, enhancing pressure relief while maintaining airflow, making sofa beds a more viable and enjoyable sleep solution for guests.

In addition to enhancing the sofa beds, Bedgear’s innovation extends to Ashley’s Dreamcliner category, with the introduction of a Dri-Tec® chair protector and a Dri-Tec® fitted sheet set, tailored to cover the entire Dreamcliner surface. This ensures that this lifestyle solution for shopper who tend to sleep in their chairs also benefit from advanced airflow and moisture control to reduce overheating and maintain a healthy environment. These products are designed to fit seamlessly and be easy to care for, thus both protecting the chair surface during regular and ongoing use, and helping sleepers stay cool, dry and comfortable whether they are lounging, napping, or sleeping through the night.

Featuring new in-store Displays, High Point Market was the debut for the new collections and they received rave reviews, now moving to a launch at the flagship Ashley retail store directly after Memorial Day! This collaboration reflects a shared commitment between Bedgear and Ashley Furniture to redefine comfort through the intentional creation of complete Performance® Sleep Systems, beyond the traditional bed. By integrating all the layers of our product innovation with versatile furniture pieces, the partnership meets the evolving needs of modern consumers who expect more personalization, curation and a one-stop shop when they purchase at retail. Together, Bedgear and Ashley are enhancing product functionality and reshaping how people experience comfort—wherever they choose to rest.

Global Sourcing & Production:

We have transitioned from a primary focus on Product Development to a broader role in Global Sourcing and Production. This shift reflects our commitment to strengthening the operational side of the business, with increased emphasis on supplier partnerships, cost optimization, quality assurance, and efficient production processes. While innovation remains important, our current focus is on building a more agile, scalable, and resilient sourcing and production framework to better support the company’s growth and evolving market demands.

DRIVING TRANSFORMATION ACROSS PLANNING & BUSINESS SYSTEMS

ERP & Systems:

Planning & Business Systems — A Message from Our Team

I am incredibly proud of everyone across both the Forecasting & Planning and Business Systems Administration teams. The dedication, focus, and hard work each of them brings every day — not just to our internal goals but to the experience we deliver to our customers — is truly remarkable. What you will read below is a reflection of that commitment and a glimpse of the exciting path ahead.

Forecasting & Planning — A Season of Transformation and Results

As we closed out 2025, the Forecasting & Planning team underwent an exciting reorganization designed to position the company for long-term growth. Peter Popov was elevated to Director of Forecasting & Planning, while Than Tienauchariya shifted to a more concentrated role encompassing forecasting, sales operations, and product analytics. Yvonne Lindahl took on dedicated focus managing inventory for our Canadian Distribution Centers and POP, and in February 2026 we welcomed Steven Prestia, who has quickly settled into managing finished goods inventory from overseas. And we cannot forget to mention Rebecca Verville, Manufacturing Administrator. Rebecca was promoted into her current role last year and continues to support our manufacturing purchasing as schedule for Salt Lake City and Rock Hill facilities.

The newly structured team wasted no time making an impact. One of the first priorities was tackling back-orders head-on — and the results speak for themselves. From a peak backorder level at the end of 2025, the team has driven an 88% reduction in outstanding backorder dollars, bringing daily backorder lines across all warehouse locations from hundreds down to single digits — and in many cases, none at all. Working closely with the Brand Experience and Sales teams, the backlog of POP installations and POP backorders has also been largely resolved.

Looking ahead, F&P has launched a new wave of monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations meetings, which are proving invaluable in shaping purchasing forecasts and strategic inventory placement, including supporting the retail drop-ship business now shipping from our Salt Lake City facility. Most notably, the team has begun fully utilizing MRP within NetSuite for purchasing international finished goods, components, and determining domestic production work order quantities. The next milestone on the horizon is the activation of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).

The foundation has been set. The momentum is real. We are excited for what the rest of 2026 and beyond holds for this team.

Business Systems Administration — Strengthening Support, Systems, and Internal Capability

The Business Systems Administration team has had a lot to celebrate as we move through 2026. In January, PJ Lovelace was promoted to Manager of ERP and Integration, a well-earned recognition of his contributions and leadership within the team. Alongside PJ, Systems Process Analyst Adam Pendleton continues to play an important role in driving the team's day-to-day progress and initiatives.

Over the past several months, the team has made meaningful strides across support, system performance, and internal capability. A key milestone has been the ongoing development of the Business Systems Helpdesk — bringing greater structure to how requests are submitted, tracked, and resolved. The result has been improved visibility, faster response times, and a better overall experience for users across the organization. Just as importantly, the Helpdesk has given the team sharper insight into recurring trends and areas ripe for process improvement.

Business Systems has also been a critical partner in expanding NetSuite functionality, including supporting the company's MRP rollout and improving the stability of scripts, workflows, and custom records — reducing system friction and increasing reliability across key business processes. A particular point of pride has been the team's growing ability to handle more scripting, workflow development, and system enhancements in-house — reducing dependence on outside consultants, improving turnaround time, and deepening internal ownership of business-critical systems. The integration of AI tools has further accelerated this effort, helping the team develop solutions faster, troubleshoot more effectively, and deliver enhancements with greater agility.

Adding to the team's momentum, the implementation and broader rollout of ClickUp marks an exciting step forward in how the company tracks projects and collaborates. The BSA team is now fully utilizing the platform, with the foundation in place to expand its use across other teams — creating greater visibility, accountability, and consistency organization-wide.

With a strong foundation built and momentum firmly on their side, the Business Systems Administration team is well positioned to continue driving improvement, automation, and operational excellence throughout 2026 and beyond.
